INTERVIEW - SERGIO LÓPEZ

Sergio: I am Sergio López and today I am going to interview the visionary co-founder of Apple, Steve Jobs. Steve, good afternoon and thank you for coming. We are going to start talking about your life: Do you think that your life has been successful until now?

Steve: First, good afternoon and thank you for inviting me to do that interview. About your question, the word success can be interpreted in different ways. In my way of thinking, success means to achieve my goals. So yes, my life has been very successful.

Sergio: And how have you reached your goals? Because you have had to overcome some problems, have you?

Steve: Right, it’s true. Besides the problems in matter of work, I have suffered health problems. But my family and my friends have helped me to overcame them. Thanks to them and with persistence and good team players I have achieved my goals.

Sergio: Now, let’s talk about your creations. Which of your inventions do you think have been more influential to the world?

Steve: Well, I hope that all what I have created have had influence in some way. But if I had to choose one, I would choose the foundation of Apple. That was the start of everything in my life. It’s the most special for me.

Sergio: The last question, which qualities should a self-starter have to achieve success in his business?

Steve: I think most young self-starters already have the most important: the desire to succeed. Moreover, it’s good to have leadership skills, time management skills and to be able to work under pressure.
