Jessica and Lisa are on
the teacher’s room discussing about ICT, a new subject which their school will start
teaching the next year.
Lisa: I wonder why the
director has not decided to start teaching ICT until now. It was such a needed
and demanded subject.
Jessica: Well I’m
pretty sure there’re more important things to address at the moment than teach kids
how to use mobile phones. They already know it, for God’s sake!
Lisa: But ICT is more
than just teach how to use a phone, they’ll be taught how to navigate through
the internet safely. They must know how their information is being handled and
what happens when they accept the so-known cookies.
Jessica: Well, I bet
they’ll use that hour to play with their phones.
Lisa: Jessica you aren’t
even listening to me, are you? Then, could you come up with another way to
teach kids the dangers and benefits of the usage of new technologies?
