Emma’s friend, Pau, and Emma, think their friend’s behavior isn’t right, so
they decide to talk to him even though they know there’s a chance he won’t
realize what’s really going on and the damage he’s doing.
Emma: We have to talk to him; I don’t want them to think he’s really a bad
person, because I don’t think he is. He’s not behaving well, but when I went to
talk to him, he dodged me on this subject and didn’t want to talk about it.
Pau: I can’t believe what you’re saying to me, you’re absolutely right. We
need to stop this as soon as possible. By the way, we must speak to him in a
subtle way, without it appearing as if we are incriminating him; only then will
we be able to get him to admit it if all this is true.
Emma: I think the best way to let him know that this is not the right thing
to do is to tell him to put himself in other people’s shoes, and not to do what
he doesn’t want them to do to him.
Pau: I agree with you, only in this way will we get him to put this bad
behavior aside and return everything to normal.
