Dialogue- Sofia Mirpuri
David and Laura are two ESO teachers who
are discussing about the convenience of introducing ICT (Information and
Communication Technology) as a school subject.
David: I’m not sure what the principal will decide, but in my opinion
introducing two hours of ICT is a very good idea.
Laura: Are you sure, David? This means two hours of another subject will
be taken out. In addition, I don’t think it is that important to learn about
new technologies.
David: I don’t agree with you. In the world we’re living our students
will have to control new technologies if they want to have a qualified job.
Laura: Well, that’s true. However, from my point of view, new generations
already have this knowledge about ICT, they learn on their own with videogames,
etc.
David: Yes, you are right. Nowadays, babies know more about technology
than us! The classes should be for us instead.
