JOB INTERVIEW
April is applying for a sports trainer job in the CAMPUS U.S. She has
been selected in the first level and now she’s going to have an interview with
the executive director.
Interviewer:
Good morning April. I hope you could find the location easily.
April:
Hello, good morning. Yes, this place is a bit hidden, though I managed to
arrive.
Interviewer:
Perfect, so, if you agree, we are going to start with the interview.
April: Fine.
Interviewer:
Firstly, why are you interested in working with us?
April: I
really want to be part of this project because I’ve always loved sports and at
the same time I feel very connected with your model. Taking this commitment with you would be a very
good opportunity to link my sports passion and my aptitude to treat with people.
Interviewer:
Which personal and professional skills can you offer to the project?
April: In my point of view –besides
the football and rugby formation attached to the résumé– I have a really
professional treatment with the costumers, as well as a close and specialised
attention. I also have leadership skills
so I’m likely to work in a team. In addition, I am able to work under pressure.
Interviewer:
You mentioned you know how does our project work. Can you tell me two basic
principles of our methodology?
April: Of
course. In one hand, it is very interesting the way you give the camp staff
different objectives. I am very goal-oriented
and have excellent multi-task skills,
so I would perfectly deal with this point. On the other hand, I appreciate very
much and I believe it’s a reference how
you teach the campers, boosting both their sports technique and sociable
skills. I believe it’s a referenceThis point fits very well with my idea of efficient
work.
Interviewer: Well, so that was all.
Thank you very much for your time. We’ll call you if you pass this selection
step.
April: Your welcome, have a nice day.
