Job Interview

Interviewer: Good morning, nice to have you here.

Interviewee: Good morning, I am pleased to have been given the opportunity.

Interviewer: Can you tell us about any previous work experience you have had, please?

Interviewee: Yes, of course. Currently, I am working as a hotel receptionist in Barcelona. However, my first job when I turned sixteen was as a babysitter and I also worked as a roller-skating trainer of a group of girls aged six to ten for two years.

Interviewer: What skills have you got that would make you suitable for this position?

Interviewee: I am very responsible and hard-working. I have experience working with children and as a sports trainer. I have a good level of English, Spanish is my mother tongue, and I like spending my free time taking photos.  Furthermore, I am highly motivated to be part of a project that works to provide unprivileged children with an unprecedented opportunity to enjoy a holiday.

Interviewer: Do you work well in a team?

Interviewee: Yes. Despite I do not dislike working on my own if required, I have always enjoyed being part of a team. I am patient, empathetic and keen on helping others. As part of a team, I can contribute to the creation of a stable and relaxed environment, moderate discussions, and put forward creative solutions.

Interviewer: What do you like the most about working with children?

Interviewee: What I enjoy most about working with infants is being able to be amazed and surprised by their questions, interests, curiosities, and stories. Moreover, I love seeing the passion they put into everything they do and watch them grow up.

Interviewer: Have you got any questions?

Interviewee: Yes. What would my schedule be?

Interviewer: You would be running to activities in the morning, from 8 am to 12:20 am, another one in the afternoon, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, always with a partner, and then three days a week you would have to stay with the children during dinner and three days more you would be responsible for the night activity.
