Nowadays in our society, we have some substances that harm our health. The Government in front of this risk they illegalize many of these substances but alcohol and tobacco are legal. In my opinion, the government has to illegalize these substances or control the consumption of alcohol and tobacco.
Alcohol should be banned because it reaches all kinds of people and this makes it very common in people at a young age. This fact makes it taken very often, which causes it to be taken more abundantly and creates a dependence on this substance that causes problems in the body.
Tobacco should be illegal because of all the toxic components it has and that generates a great addition to it. This substance causes a large number of deaths due to the diseases that it causes, for example, lung cancer. This substance is also within everyone’s reach, which makes daily consumption easier.
In conclusion, in my view, these substances such as alcohol and tobacco should be illegal because they cause a lot of dependence that is very difficult to control so that illegalizing it would reduce the number of consumers and the risk to our health.
